Quick Corn on the Cob

Maybe I'm behind the times, but I always thought that corn on the cob was a huge ordeal... when I heard about this oh-so-simple recipe I was dubious, but when I tried it out it turned out to be a delicious shortcut!

Ingredients:
1 ear corn

1. cut off the tips of the silks.
2. microwave on high for 90 seconds
3. turn over
4. microwave on high for 90 seconds
5. rinse briefly with cold water
6. shuck the corn and remove silk (easy, but very hot)

common sense says that if you do more than one ear at a time you should increace the cooking time.
experimentation says that you can adjust the timing to get the right texture for you (more time for smooshy corn, less for extra crisp).

--Try this with a dab of butter, a sprinkle of chili powder, a squeeze of lime juice, and pinch of salt... yum!

Comments:
I tried this and it worked great! It was way easier than making it on the stove and it tasted the same to me. Hurrah!
